Greenock Morton FC manager, Dougie Imrie, has been named the Scottish Championship Glen’s Manager of the Month for January 2024 after an unbeaten start to the year.

Greenock Morton were undefeated in January, with victories over Ayr United, Dundee United and Arbroath, as well as a 1-1 draw with Partick Thistle.

The Cappielow Park side picked up 10 points out of a possible 12 during the month, and now sit fourth in the league table.

Colin Matthews, CEO of Glen’s owner the Loch Lomond Group, said:

“Greenock Morton have had a great start to 2024 with a string of impressive results under Dougie Imrie’s guidance, making him a clear choice to be named the Scottish Championship Glen’s Manager of the Month for January.

“And with manager Dougie signing a new two-and-a-half-year contract at Cappielow Park, it’s a great sign for what’s in store for the club.

“My congratulations go to Dougie and his coaching staff, and we hope to see this level of play continue.”

Dougie Imrie, manager of Greenock Morton FC, said:

"I would like to start by thanking Glen’s for this award. It is always a real honour to receive and is a reward for the hard work from the staff and players.

“The run we are on is great and it’s a real testament to the character of my coaching staff and players, without their efforts this award wouldn’t be possible."
