Rangers FC manager, Philippe Clement, has been named the Scottish Premiership Glen’s Manager of the Month for January 2024 after taking the helm in October.
Rangers took the full nine points available in January, with victories over Kilmarnock, Hibernian and St Mirren, with Clement’s side conceding just one goal during the month.
Rangers now sit second in the league table, just three points behind league leaders Celtic.
Colin Matthews, CEO of Glen’s owner the Loch Lomond Group, said:
“Rangers had a strong start to the year with Philippe Clement injecting a fresh approach into the team’s on-pitch strategy. With three wins throughout January, Clement is a worthy winner of the Glen’s Manager of the Month title.
“Demonstrating his tactical acumen and winning mentality, Rangers has made significant progress since Clement took the reins in October, with the club now sitting in second position.
“My congratulations go to Philippe and all involved at Ibrox on being named the Scottish Premiership Glen’s Manager of the Month for January.”
Philippe Clement, manager of Rangers FC, said:
“I am delighted to win this award for the first time, but I accept it on behalf of my players and my coaching staff.
“It is a group effort where everyone works towards the same goal of bringing success to this football club.
“We have won all of our games in January so now the challenge is to continue to produce the results and performances that I know we are capable of and hopefully that can lead to a successful season for Rangers.”
